I do a similar activity with paintstrips for younger children that just involves matching upper and lowercase letters. This is a great way to take it a step further, and to utilize some free resources :) (Nothing says “preschool teacher” like rolling in Wal-mart and walking out with 3 inches of paint strip samples in your purse!)
